Then on the subject of the Gulf Oil Spill, a nasty secret the enviro-goons don't want you to know about crude oil, its BIODEGRADABLE and a fertilizer. It may take 12-24 months to disperse but it will, but go out in your yard pour some raw crude out, it will be black and nasty this year but next spring that spot will be greener than before.[/quote]
there are bacteria in the ocean that feed on oil yes.If you would like to come out to our pastures where the hoses have broke and crude has spilled I will show you the spots that have been there for years, and there is no grass.Have another cup of cool aid .

Much like OSHA and their punitive measures rather than being informative and helpful in protecting the workers and the companies they work for. It should never be an us against them situation where the government profits from punishment rather than to truly help to make the work place safer for all.

So instead of not adding pollutants or harmfull things to the enviornment, we should figure out how we can keep pumping the shit out but use other potential polutants or harmfull things to make the shit safer to be around?
The answer was so simple!

I love this little excerpt from your first link.
"As I neared the middle of the book, the feeling grew in my mind that Rachel Carson was really playing loose with the facts and was also deliberately wording many sentences in such a way as to make them imply certain things without actually saying them. She was carefully omitting everything that failed to support her thesis that pesticides were bad, that industry was bad, and that any scientists who did not support her views were bad"
So that's where y'all learned how to do that! How ironic you didn't even think of it.
But there still is that "a few scientists against a shitload of scientists" deal. Plus the even more ironic concern for a 3rd world population that y'all typically couldn't care less about.

Then I know you haven't read Silent Spring. It is a novel. That means work of fiction.

I know what it is. Apearently the doctoe reading it thought it was a text book or reference volume. He expected it to follow a script so to speak. And when it strayed off the beaten trail he stated to freak out.
Who was the scientist that used to eat a table spoon full of petroleum jelly,
Bell maybe, Edison maybe, can't remember

The same place all our mothballed oil tankers went. HELLO! The sensational media store.
Without the EPA our country would look and smell like China does today. Not all regulation is bad just overreaching regulation.

Olivia you do disappoint me sometimes. Would you like me to forward the research I did or would you just not read it?
