Lets forget for a moment that there were hookers involved. Lets forget that one of those dumbasses felt so above the rest of us that he felt it is OK to rob a girl (and yes, not paying for services rendered is a robbery), lets just ask simple question about getting shitfaced while on mission.

A lot of people on this forum have employees. Is it OK for someone in your employ to party and booze up till 3am when they have to perform important job duties in the morning?

Most of us travel excessively for business. Do we want our airline pilot to show up to work after getting shitfaced with other pilots till 3am?

Some of us had surgeries performed. Wanna have 7am surgery done by a doctor who is still hungover?

If you needed protective detail , would you want them sober and alert ? I know I would.

I was under impression he was arriving the next day, may be i am wrong about that.

Even if he was not, did they have work related duties to perform in AM? Or were they just sent to Colombia waaaaaaaaaaaay before the event to just hang out there as mini vacation?

No, they were sent to Columbia as part of an advance detail. Their job was to ensure security, work out the itinery, check credentials, and double check routes. It being Colombia the day may have started fairly late by our standards. Obama was not due for a couple of weeks.
The agent promised $800 for the night. Was the standard rate or was she going to take advantage of a drunken idiot?
