Techno sex has been used as a plot device in Babylon 5 where you put on a complete body suit in order to react with a hologram. Same thing for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In one the Captain (Tracey Scoggins) was the object of desire and the other was Nana Visitor but turned out to be Quark from the neck up.
I remember an episode of a forgotten series where Natasha Hentridge was a holographic companion for the last man on the earth. He would go into a sensory chamber for a full sensory experience. Ended badly. All the holograms became the "real" and he was forgotten as his hologram wife had a baby with a hologram him.
Captain Kirk had sex with robots. The skin job Cylons had lots of sex with humans.
