I've never seen anyone peel a banana that way, from the bottom end!

Don't spend $5 on the trick though. It is easy. You insert a needle through the skin of the banana and rock it side to side, slicing through the banana without cutting the peel. Then remove the needle, move down the length, and do it again. If you enter from different sides of the banana, no one will notice a line of holes down one side. Then when you peel the banana, it is already sliced!
