Your post reminds me of Joe Biden saying we've got to spend more money to keep from going bankrupt. This was in defence of Obamacare. Since his remarks were made, the CBO's initial cost estimate for Obamacare went from 940 billion to 1.76 trillion. According to Biden's "logic" this should help us avoid bankruptsy even more effectively.
