Prostitution is usually a class B Mis. If you got busted, by law you have to disclose you have a carry permit. That means you just committed a Class A by violating the terms of the permit. If you were actually armed as defined by the Satute, then you have a 3d degree felony to deal with.

If you actually used the weapon against another person while committing a crime, (ie, during a session), you will probably spend a long time in prison.

Weapons and Hooking do not mix. Especially when that weapon comes under the auspice of a legal carry permit.

Take a self defense class, and screen screen screen. If a man has the jump on you which most attackers will, you must know how to react in an instance. You do not have to luxury of thought, it has to be instinctive.

Scratching and kicking will not help you if you get knocked out by a punch. Remember the more aggressive you are; the more aggressive your attacker is likely to be.

Screaming is one of the best deterrents, bring as much attention as you can to the situation.

Most gun fights last less that 6 seconds and are withing a 3 to 5 feet. Most people even trained officers cannot defend themselves from a surprise attack.

Be safe, and know your surroundings.

I've been in a few little "situations" over the course of my lifetime and it's always the element of surprise that will get you.

I don't have weapons in my incall although anything could actually be used as a weapon if push came to shove. Anything.

It's obvious to most that I have no desire to fight and well, I currently, I do not have a gun. I'm might possibly be a little but tougher than I'm sounding like right now, but jeez. I don't wish to ever suggest or create a situation where I would have to fight.

Interesting topic. But the "tough girl can beat the crap out of a man" type of statements always kindof turn me off. I'm a VERY big woman and I couldn't fight my way out of a ... .can't think of something pithy to say here.

WTF said it well. In my world, it's probably less safe to drive to and from my office. Meeting my clients isn't that dangerous for the most part.

Unless dying from multiple orgasms is an issue.

P.S. Jackie, thanks for that information. I didn't have a CLUE and was actually planning to sign up for one of those courses. Now, I'm going to have to do some research on it for the state of Texas. Damn.
