My body definitely takes longer to recover after brutal workouts. But I'm in better shape now than I ever was at half my age. Let's just put it that way.

I have reduced two belts holes in my waist, but I want to bulk up more. I had a personal trainer but this person started showing up 30 mins late to workout, more excuses, yada, yada, yada. So, i read abook and have been doing alone for the past 8 months. I want more bulk not strength, I want to look better not get stronger, lol.

I'm afraid this is what my personal trainer would look like (BTW, that's not me, it's someone about 40 years younger than me):

Insanity workouts are great when I can't get to the gym. Lifted my ass up in two weeks, no joke, and I'm in good shape. I go to the gym everyday. Have to, or I can't sleep well. Bit of a fitness addict, but I'm in much better shape then my 20's for sure
LOVE working out

It's true I sleep a lot better when I work out. It's the best for exhausting yourself.

I want to know what they mean by Italian Chandelier@ 912 calories? Is that 'swinging on one'? Or some position I'm not aware of? If I can burn that many cals on a new position, I'm up for the challenge!

While most people would balk at a girl doing MMA I have to honestly say that's my personal insanity program. After two hours of wrestling, kicking, running drills, punching...using your own body's force/strength/flexibility, it's one of the most taxing things I've ever attempted to do. And in the ring, even 30 seconds to a minute is taxing. I started to get too many bruises and so I avoid it before touring. I don't need to show up at the door with
a black eye
bruises everywhere
a missing tooth (we wear mouthpieces, but still)
Clients would begin to think, wow, a true masochist.

If you aren't one of those people who's into working out then I would suggest..
Lots of protein....not a lot of breads or pasta...Tea or coffee in the morning....And no sugar!
Also, I get colonics done regularly which will get rid of any bloating you may have and keep your system nice and cleansed
And just fuck as much as poss, burns loads of calories!

People would be surprised to think about what builds up in your colon, seriously. It's not pretty.
