The Reason Liberty is Disappearing

Judge Learned Hand understood what is happening.

Truer words may have never been spoken. It is clear from this board and in the news in general that liberty has died in the hearts of Americans. The rest of this article is enlightening.

Liberty will be born again when the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots. Lets hope those in power recognize their danger before they go too far.

Liberty disappears when people love comfort, or pleasure, or a false feeling of security, or, apparently fashionable disdain more than liberty. Some look to history for inspiration, others to comedy central, sad but true.
