Major Headaches
Yes, significant transitions in transportation have always brought their own significant headaches and quite often unforeseen ones.
When primitive cars first began sharing the roads which were primarily used by horses and buggies, there was a law requiring that a man with a lamp travel on foot 50 feet head at night to warn the horses and riders that a car was coming!
Apparently, horses would spook if a rattletrap internal combustion engine car suddenly came upon them without warning and could gallop off and throw the rider!
We have come a long since then, but that sight is hard to imagine today!
