Because two adults want to spend an hour together, we have to have LAWS in place to prevent it, because of 'morals'?

Explain to the voters that prostitution is morally reprehensible (you don't have to actually believe this; remember, you're a politician), but resources are scarce, and resources need to be focused on human trafficking. Heavy fines for operating in restricted zones -- cha ching! More roads and other government goodies!

3) Hit the therapeutic angle. This might only play in California (think medical marijuana), but find research on the mental health benefits of folks getting enough O's.

4) Don't play the racial angle. That will negate all of the above. No offense, that's just how I think it will play politically.

If you want to hear arguments about why it should be illegal, this is the wrong place to hear them. I'd say most of us here are for legalization or decriminalization. Elsewhere, you can find those kinds of arguments, but you probably won't find them compelling. Logic is not a forte of the voting public.
