Big Louie and Dude. The Republicans did not fix anything or pass a balanced budget amendment to send to the states because THEY ARE REPUBLICANS! They don't give a damn about you any more than the Democrats do. Dems and Reps are two sides of the same coin.

Both parties are statist, and crony-capitalist (which is a politically correct term for fascist.)

CuteOldGuy - That's exactly my point. They're both in bed together. I can't help but think that behind closed doors these clowns are having the time of their life screwing us all. I don't get why people are bent on supporting either party. Perhaps we should start our own party and get these fools out of office.

The best analogy I've come up with is professional wrestling. Loud noise, terse words, and completely fake. That's why the GOP is desperate to either usurp the TEA movement or destroy it.

The 2000 series republicans in congress and the white house sucked when it came to spending and controlling government growth. The Tea Party republicans are the only ones I trust now.

Hey Laz, you really believe the Tea Party Republicans are the real deal? I would be the first one in line to join the Tea Party if it wasn't affiliated with any of the establishment political parties, but once they became the right wing of the Republican Party, all credibility is lost.

I agree dude, they started off well, but the Republicans hijacked them. Can't be trusted now.

It might not solve the deficit, but maybe Buffet should start by paying the $1B or so in taxes his company apparently owes.

Yes I believe those that are still pushing the small government agenda are to be trusted. I do not trust people like Michelle Bachman who also pushes her socially conservative agenda and claims the tea party mantle. Her lack of support I think is a reflection of that.
