Going to Guanacaste

I'm going to Guanacaste in Sept, any recommendations? My first trip to CR.

Not at all the same as San Jose or Jaco. I understand that outside of those venues the pickings are slim.

What are you looking for? JW Marriott in Hacienda Pinilla is off the hook for accomodations. Little P4P but meals are expensive. room rate with Marriott Friends and family is about $ 150 a night plus tax.
