I can see Budman's POV on this as well, which is why I don't see newbies without personal info. If I am not sure he is safe before he arrives, it's not going to happen. We all have to do what works best for us.

Good screening goes both ways. A careless hobbyist endangers the provider and a careless provider endangers the hobbyist. Never take a risk. With things like P411 available it is unnecessary. Any hobbyist that cannot afford that fee cannot afford the provider. Any hobbyist that just has an urge that has to be relieved now is not the providers problem.

Now as far as doing an incall and getting told where to specifically go and what brand of car I have for a client with references and verified......it would have been overkill. If she can't trust my refs or p411 I'm not gonna go through to many hoops personally before I just decline the meet; but I also never do incalls....so I do what works for me.

I wouldn't do that for someone who had been verified! After going through all of the screening, I would already know you're perfectly safe to see, and just send you to my door. That's only for the new ones, which I actually see a lot of, especially traveling. Guess I should have clarified that. It just makes me feel more at ease, and no one usually minds it.

My first thought would be I'm being set up for something. Could be someone will break in to my car while I'm in the room. Maybe you're LE and they want to cover all their bases. Maybe you want to get my plate number so you can get my true identity. Or as Burk said maybe someone is waitings around the corner to kick my ass. I know you providers are taking a risk each and evry time you see a new hobbyist but the hobbyist have just as many concerns as you. Not only are they worried about LE they are also walking into a room where they have no idea if somebody is hiding in the bathroom. I have been doing this for quite some time and I still get neverous and apprehensive when seeing a provider for the first time regardless of her reputation.

I can see that...I don't mean to freak anyone out! I'm just a big bag of nerves most of the time. I have other things in my personal life that I do and cannot afford any trouble.

I understand the nerves but I don't get how the car description and parking location helps. If it is LE then they are not going to show up in a cruiser. This is a very nerve wracking game from both sides. I know the providers experience it more because of volume but from the hobbyist's side it is just as nerve wracking and we have just as much to lose. Good luck.

You are right about that, very nerve wracking! But, also, LE is not the only thing we have to worry about. & I am aware they wouldn't come in a marked car. There are some nut jobs out there. I've been held hostage and abused before. The parking thing, that's just so they're right at the door I'd like them to enter, instead of the lobby. That's not really a big deal. But If they are new, I'd like to see if someone follows, or if they have someone with them, ya know? Idk, maybe I'm too paranoid, lol!

Holly I think everyone can see there are two perspectives here. Everyone is trying to be careful. I don't think anyone will think badly of you for reacting the way you did and also why the guy might have issue with the car thing especially when he is a nervous newbie. The good thing is you will have a bunch of sessions go just right after that and he will just get his cherry broken with someone else. Happy endings for everyone. lol

Holly,
Keep in mind that if they are up to no good then they are not going to be that obvious about it. If someone else is in the car then they will most likely hide. If another car is following them I doubt they will park next to each other and have a conversation. All I can tell you is that both sides have plenty to be concerned about. Your best bet would be to put in some sort of screening process. Asking what kind of car someone drives and telling them where to park is not screening. Good luck.

In complete agreement with everything Budman wrote. Any escort asking me to describe my car and telling me where to park sets off alarm bells. There's no good reason you need to know that information so it's not gonna happen. If that's part of your "screening" MO, then tell me up front, because I'll decline the date and save both of us the time and hassle. Personally, I put the blame for the failed meeting on you in the scenario you described.
