Default A Rant

Driving home about an hour ago, I'm listening to the program Sunday Baroque on the classical music station.

Host Suzanne Bona (whom, BTW, I'd love to bona) introduces the next piece as follows:

Quote:
"It may be hard to believe, but the lazy days of summer are nearly over..."
YES, SUZANNE ... IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE ... ESPECIALLY HERE IN SAN ANTONIO, WHERE THE FORECAST HIGH FOR TODAY IS ONE - O - FUCKING EIGHT!!!

OK, I feel better now.

Maybe not. WHEN IS THIS SHIT GONNA END?!

She's right. The lazy days are ending, if not already.
The beat down days of summer are here.

Yup, it's pretty bad when a cool front is supposed to happen...and it's going to get down into the 90's! (lol)

AljanSATX - LAWN!!!!.....my yard looks like the surface of the moon. Come over and mow some fcking rocks! Only thing living back there are bugs, lizards, maybe even a few snakes! All vegetation is dead or dormant. Kind a like the SO's pussy! Lawn. Who the fuck has a lawn in San Antonio?

This is my 39th south Texas summer. Yes, it is by far one of the worst as far as the heat is concerned.

If it helps anyone just take a moment and count all the days you spend shoveling sunshine in a calendar year.

I had to cover my banana trees by pool because sun is too hot. Stinking banana trees?? They grow those on the stinking equator. When I moved here in 81 it was too cold to even grow bananas -except at that miniature golf next to that dairy on Fred RD. Now all of a sudden its too hot to grow bananas.
