Hobbying in Cambodia

I've been reading up on Cambodia, both in Lonely Planet but also on another site with a ton of info and posts. I've always wanted to visit.

But, everywhere I read there is a warning about a law against non-married people going to hotels together and so forth. I don't want to get in trouble. So, does anyone have a sense of how easy and safe it is to hobby there in Cambodia?

As usual, all suggestions I take will have nice reviews for everyone's benefit.

Just returned to USA after 7 month trip to SE Asia and Nepal. Spent 6 weeks in Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) and had no problem with visits to my hotel... Staff would escort them to my room. Mainly used services of a massage place near hotel ($US 7 for a good massage with HE doubling price to 14, nothing further available there and most MP don't offer extras. My only FS P4P was with help of a moto-taxi driver, hassle hunting but @ $US 30, worth the effort. Many drivers offer girls.)

P4P scene is a mere shadow of former glory days but still around. Assume you have been getting your hobby info from an international guide site? IMHO Cambodia is not a mongering destination but a great place to visit for the people and the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat. There was enough action available to keep the rust out of my pipes.

Thanks for the post--brief but helpful. I've checked out other websites, which tell of successes. I do however get the sense it's not Vietnam nor Thailand in terms of mongering.

I am very interested in seeing Angor Wat, but then want a mongering experience down in SE asia other than Thailand (I've done that and will get some before I fly out of Bangkok to the US). I just have about a week to 10 days and limited funds, because I must go to Seoul and Beijing for professional reasons before that.

So, I just don't know how I'll fit it all in. It seems I can either do Vietnam or Cambodia.

Of the two, go to Viet Nam, IMHO the girls are prettier.

I don't agree. They are merely different in attitude.

Have to work at it a little more in Cambodia. It's more public in HCMC.

There is one club in PP that rivals what one finds in Thailand and in Vietnam. Probably about 150 girls, of whom 80 or so are hot as heck.
