newbie designation

I posted a similair topic a while back but thought I would post this differently to see if I could get some responses.

in browsing providers' ads, most of them say "newbie" friendly but must have verifiable references.

Providers, what do you do if a hobbyist doesn't have any recent provider references but has been hobbying for a while? I know safety is and should be the primary concern, so do you refuse to see this person knowing that there is always someone else to take his spot?

I know there are a lot of providers out there that will see ppl without recent refs as long as they can verify who they are through other means, but what if that provider is not the flavor of the week?

so, I guess bottom line is, if there is someone you really want to see and they require this and that and you cannot meet that criteria, should you just move on or try and contact that provider anyways?

any thoughts, slams, jokes, pokes or rude comments welcomed. I am an equal opportunity ignorer.

I don't usually care who is flavor of the week/month, etc. Even so, I was not able to see some that I wanted in the beginning. I saw others who were more newbie friendly until I established my own credibility. Had fun along the way. Reached the point I was usually able to schedule who I wanted. Works for me. Works for many others.

Another popular option for many is P411. I just was not interested in that one. Personal choice.

If you were interested in playing baseball, would you expect to be signed on just because you wanted, and you first game would be in the majors.

You can drop her a line and let her know you'd like to meet, but you don't yet have the criteria (references, etc.) she needs, but that you'll make an appointment request when you do. Or you can just wait to contact her until you have all the criteria.

But in general asking to meet when you know you don't have what she needs is not going to go over well.

We're in the same boat dude. I might be a half-point ahead now. Suggest you sample the delightful appetizers - and they ARE delightful - until you get the refs/rep to get to dip that sausage in the honey pot(s) you're dreaming of. I know....they are legion... enjoy!

Torito has an excellent point with his baseball analogy.

All of us were "newbies" at one time, there are many "newbie friendly" providers, but many of them are probably not the first lady or ladies you want to see BCD, but they are still fun and they provide you with the "history" you want and for the other ladies that you want to see that need it. My suggestion is to do what I did when I first started out: I went to studios and I looked on backpage and craigslist at the time, and cross referenced it with ladies who advertise on here, or in my case, it was TER and ASPD. Tell them you calling solely on their ad on BP and you would like to see them, when you are done tell them you are going to write a review on this site. You are starting your "status" as far as your history goes. I did it for my first 8 reviews on ASPD and TER and I was off and running.

fryec- I'm formulating my strategy on "what to do" - will let you know how it goes. I will tell you that about a year ago I did finally break down and get a P411 account- I was nervous as hell. I probably blew about $300 trying different versions of pre-pay cards, only to find none of them worked with P411- and finally tried the Western Union approach- which was simple, easy, and required no ID (honest, this isn't a p411 ad)

What I subsequently found, though ..is that the ladies I want to visit, require p411 +1, or +2 ..so I was still in the position of not being able to set an appt ..so I gave up for a while ..but now I'm back and ready to try the approach legman+ suggests.

Let me know how it goes for you. I think p411 will be a big help.
