I agree that this concept of "perfection" is a major detriment to relationships in this country. So is our media inspired belief that every day should be filled with hearwrenching romance and pulse-pounding passion. Far too many expectations that reality has no chance of fulfilling.

For me its the way I feel when we are together. Not like a page out of a romance novel but how relaxed I feel around you. The feeling that no matter what I say she will accept it as just a part of who I am and not try to judge me based on individual traits. An open mind but not naieve, someone I can trust to have my best interests at heart.

My wife is perfect in all but one way: she has a difficult time dealing with certain sexual fetishes I developed as a result of some childhood issues. She believes that by helping me to fulfill my fantasies personally, she will alter our sexual chemistry in a negative way. Because of that, she suggested I see escorts to address my fetishes and our relationship is thriving as a result. I believe if she was psychologically capable of the types of role play I desire, she would provide them herself.
