tia travels's ad in TN Provider Ads (the one with the "ANASLEX" license plate) reminds me of this classic:
That's not a vanity plate, and it's kind of a happy accident (if Florida didn't include the orange on their plates, and if the number "5" didn't look so much like the "S" we wouldn't be chuckling right now).
What I'm wondering (knowing, as I do, that state departments of revenue have functionaries on the payroll whose jobs consist of screening vanity plates precisely to avoid issuance of "offensive plates") is how in the name of all that is holy did
this pass muster:
