Where to stay in Waco and Killeen?

Hello Lovers. I'm coming to visit you soon (ad will be up shortly) but I wanted to ask you all if there were specific areas that were best to stay in Waco and Killeen. I will be spending two days/nights in Waco and one in Killeen. Also, is there anything I should know, look out for, or check out in these towns? Looking forward to meeting some of you!

killeen has some real nice 3 and 4 star hotels right off hwy 190. easy access and easy to give directions to. also plenty of nice restaurants just one exit up

Well , in Waco... we have most all the usual motel chains. Anything along I-35 , There is a Raddison at I35 & waco drive , or then you get near Baylor, at I35 & 4th st.. Holiday Inn and others all along there..



Go a bit further South to I35 & Highway 6 ( Loop 340 ) , and you get the newest shopping centers , resturants, motels, etc.... there is a new Hampton Inn there..

Or , jump on 340 there ( N-hwy 6 ) toward Meridian and cruise a little way up to HWY 84 & Hwy 6 , where the Richland mall is located , and grab 84-West and find several there.. la Quinta , Fairfield, Super-8 .. and many more.. This is probably the best area...........

Population is about 110,000 , so it's pretty well developed .
