The far left haven't been heard from in this country since the 1940's. The country just moves further and further to the right, so much so that every few years we have to move the 50-yard line.
Can you imagine Richard Nixon getting elected to anything today, with his drug decriminalization and inflation-fighting price controls at the grocery? They'd string him up as a Communist, and our dead-center middle-of-the-road so-called progressive president would be tying the noose.
