Default Musk's roll in Trump's administration

I know several here have mentioned getting the debt under control. From the campaign it sounded like Musk could be put in charge of making government more efficient. There have been thoughts Musk would like to get rid of 2 trillion dollars of government spending.

I think this could be a thing to get a robust debate going. Being a political outsider might help cut down all the entrenched automatic opposition to any spending cut.

It will still be tough to get to much through Congress though, but I think this could be good.

And Ron Paul wants to help out.
If they they can stop the beast from growing that will be a triumph.
Of course the swamp will resist, that's a lot of Dem votes whose livelihood would be at stake

Actually both parties will resist as there is a lot of power they would give up.

If they really want to cripple the swamp, they would basically do a flat income tax too.

Lot of livelihoods across the board, not just Dem votes

Well yes. 90+ percent of DC voted Harris. But valid point.

Well, for reasons you and a couple of others here elucidated, I think he's going to have a very hard time cutting much fat. Just seems to be the nature of the American beast, I guess. So I'm afraid that we can only enjoy a cup of weak tea, when what's needed is a strong cup of espresso.

Wouldn't it be fun to see something like this here in the US?

"Don't Cry for Me, Argentina!"

And, speaking of Argentina, wouldn't you love it if a few more 60-year-old American women looked like this?

Maybe I need to retire in Buenos Aires!
