I have a few times in the past, but the ones I have taken the chance to authenticate with ended up moving out of state or are no longer in the game for one reason or another. Because of the ease of an AMP I do not see myself working on new providers any time soon. No verification required, just walk in and get relaxed. Then there is cost, the AMP prices have not gone up nearly as much as independent provider prices.

Here goes nothing ... Long time hobbyist and member of this NOLA community but an infrequent poster and that may be evident by my attempt at this post, anyway …
My 2 cents regarding the ghost-town affect is this: I agree whole heartedly with PlayWithMe42 … “it is way easier to go to an AMP then spend a week trying to get a girl available at the right time and safely authenticate with.” Well said young man!
