Default Longshoremen strike to start at midnight.

This could be disastrous. Especially on top of the hurricane damage. Buckle up!!!!!

Will Joey Bribes invoke Taft-Hartley on his union buddies?

This is going to be really bad if the East Cost and Texas strike. Could be worse than Covid times. You won't hear much of it on the news though because it paints a certain party in a bad light.

There will no avoiding it. This will be a disaster for Cumala. I was expecting an October suprise. This would be the biggest one in history.

Yes pretty scary that this particular union has so much leverage. Taft Hartley will get imposed after 7 days. Due political pressure, good or bad.

I think the guy on video has a decent sense of his grip, but as tight as he may squeeze the balls of business, the IRS has an even tighter grip to squeeze back.

Not a game to play and hopefully they get a contract solved

I’m confident this administration will handle this with the poise and grace that they normally do.

It Has Begun...

Dockworkers at ports from Maine to Texas began walking picket lines early Tuesday in a strike over wages and automation that could reignite inflation and cause shortages of goods if it goes on more than a few weeks.

Textbook example of how unions go too far. I checked…your average Union longshoreman makes $53 an hour for moving freight around.
I hope they automate this like they want and send the union packing.

The ILA is officially on strike

Here is a Longshoreman’s talking about the port strikes

“All the sh*t you get in your grocery stores because our country refuses to make it themselves, the longshoremen are the ones that get it to you….

All these multibillion dollar foreign companies that control on what American workers can make, when American workers can work, it’s pathetic.”

• she says these billion dollar companies broke their contract not to automate.
• the MSM wants you to believe it’s just about wage increases… which they want a 77% wage increase over the next 6 years.

The general salary for a Longshoreman is around $63,841 annually but some union members make between $100k-$150k.

I still think all of this is timed… it’s going to be a rough month or few.

I doubt that will ever happen, anymore than the teamsters getting broken up. Do they have too much power, sure- but they are also decent waged positions, that are critical to how america operates even more so than government or anything else frankly. without transportation, we're all fucked. Sadly- the unions don't realize that it's not just this country they will fuck, but every company both sending and receiving goods via ships, and that's literally the entire globe. Now were talking about some real impact- and hence why I think there will be 7 days till the 'Gubbment' will step in and force them back to work regardless. Not ideal, but crippling an economy won't solve shit. It's like a bully twisting an arm till the other guy cries uncle. Course some board members love that style though.
