From what I understand-- most of the "big money" guys into this particular fetish are guys who are always in control in their career fields... they like relinquishing the control to another person and are willing to pay to do so.

As I said on the other board-- this really isn't my particular wheelhouse-- my sense of humor would make it impossible for me to take this seriously enough to make it work for me... but I know several ladies who do quite well in this field.

Being in control of a high stress/high wire big money job IS trauma for most people. The higher the stakes, the worse it is. And in some cases — like an arbitration or trial with big money on the table, but you’re grinning for more — the outcome is inherently uncertain. Same with plenty of other fields.
