Republican voters don’t really want Trump. They want a version of America that they think he will deliver to them. Unfortunately I fear that they will get anything but.
Instead we’ll get a militarized border police, detention camps and possibly some kind of symbol that illegal foreigners will have to wear so that “real” Americans will know who to hate. That’s the future that Trump is promising.
Our country has some real problems but Trump isn’t the solution to any of them.
