Yeah anyone interested in the numbers that matter from SC can see they tell the same story the polls told just before the 2020 election.

A quick dive beyond the headline shows us that despite being perceived as wildly popular within the party Trump is more tolerated than supported by a good measure of voters.

It has been months now we have known Donald did not have a challenger in the party with enough support to sway his support. Trying to claim 'record numbers' or 'crushing victory' after SC is like leaving the Super Bowl at half time thinking the victory is in the bag. As we saw in 2020 'coming close' does not equate to a win
