Exactly right. We have to be mindful to know we're not the only ones. If i'm special enough to get a text because someone cancelled or flake, then I'll consider it
depending the circumstances. Example, I had a lady contact me because she had a cancellation downtown dallas. Her text was like "Hey I know you work downtown, are you in the office today? I'm at the XYZ hotel and i'm free all afternoon. Swing by before I have to pick up the kids?" It's specific, and it's relevant. She knows where I work, and is more personable.
I'll ignore the texts that are like "i'm free! come see me!" i'm not driving to Frisco from Hulen. No no no.
