with McCallum's passing there are now only two remaining cast members of the ensemble cast of "The Great Escape" which i am watching in his honor, and it's a cool movie!

to say this was an all-star cast is an understatement!

many people only know McCallum from NCIS. Robert Vaughn was supposed to be the star of "The Man from UNCLE" but McCallum's "sidekick" character quickly became very popular and he was elevated to co-star.
