Randall’s Island migrant shelter to cost NY taxpayers $20M a month — or $10K for every illegal

New York taxpayers will dole out $20 million a month to house migrants on Randall’s Island, according to a state source — or $10,000 per illegal if the site fills all of its 2,000 beds.

The makeshift facility off Manhattan is one of four illegals housing sites fully funded by the state as part of a desperate effort to keep up with the flood of illegals who have New York City at its breaking point.

A well-placed source with the state told The Post over the weekend that the state is providing $20 million a month to run the Randall’s center.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced last week that the illegals crunch in the Big Apple is expected to cost an overall whopping $12 billion for the next three years.

“We are past our breaking point,” Adams said during a City Hall briefing Wednesday. “With more than 57,300 individuals currently in our care on an average night, it amounts to $9.8 million a day, almost $300 million a month and nearly $3.6 billion a year.”

Biden, Harris and Mayorkas did their little victory dances when there was a temporary lull in arrests after T42 ended, as if they had stumbled onto some magic enforcement tool. Then their MSM ate it all up and did the normal, "Look at how great the Biden Admin is handling things. Life is so wonderful now."

What they failed to tell you is that the criminal CARTEL thugs control the flow of illegal aliens into our country under Biden. Cartels run the border. Biden can't run a can opener. He and his minions are just ideologues who want the border erased for political power. The "app" they use to circumvent "illegal" entry stats can't even stanch the flow anymore. Most of those arrested are still released anyway. It's all smoke-and-mirrors. Our laws mean nothing.

Bottom line is the massive, historic, devastating and deadly importation of millions upon millions of illegal aliens by this ruinous administration continues unabated. And the MSM they own continues to intentionally mislead you to cover for it. Our border under Biden is the biggest ongoing crime scene in the history of this country. It should be non-stop headlines.

Don't believe anything the Biden Admin tells you. They are certified liars. And don't believe that those self-declared guardians of "democracy", the MSM, are guarding anything more than a bumbling administration that happens to be in lock step with their world view.

More hard earned taxpayer dollars wasted on these freeloading illegals

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema slammed Democratic Party leaders again Wednesday for celebrating more than $100 million in federal funds to help shelter migrants in New York while her own border state of Arizona was given a fraction of that.

The senator, who left the Democratic Party in December to become an independent, doubled down on criticism she made earlier this month of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) after the two boasted in June of securing Gotham $104.6 million of an $800 million grant from the Biden administration.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency awarded just $23,890,395 in the same month to organizations in Arizona through its Shelter and Services Program, according to its webpage.

In an interview with Politico published Wednesday, Sinema said the reason for the discrepancy was “fairly obvious.”
