It seems the effort being made is to target individual voters which should be part of the focus but makes it a very expensive method to do what should already be part of the process. Validating requests to register for voting is the state's job. If they issue a registration to someone not eligible we don't need prison time for the citizen. It feels like payback for the 2018 bill in Florida that gave most convicted felons their voting rights back. DeSantis did not like it and continues to try and punish those who got their rights back.

Republicans know they have to attempt meddling in elections because it's the only way many of them can win. They have to at least make it harder for people to vote, for them to have a chance, because their policies are NOT popular with the majority of Americans.

Gerrymandering, eliminating polling places, stricter voting laws, Electoral College, etc... the only way Republicans stand a chance.

They could always forget the legitimate stuff and go with the tried and true demo-communist method of arresting the opponent.

Not surprising that staffing is an issue. Anyone not a democrat who questions an obvious fraud these days ends up having feds with automatic weapons taking a battering ram to their front door at 0300

Gerrymandering and eliminating polling locations has nothing to do "security", and everything to do with attempting to rig elections. But you already know that.

I'm generally in agreement, especially in light of the 2018 bill
