Dems should be rejoicing if she does. Finally some justice against the white and privileged crowd. Blacks, browns, yellow should be shouting from the roof tops , finally a fair and balanced Judge.

from what i understand

the hunter plea deal is having birth pains and its not so much that the judge is balking

the doj is trying to save face perhaps

hunter wants his deal to cover everything, even things that haven't yet been charged

and there is doj resistance to that because, well, the flashlight is on them and while they will bend and bend for dimocrats, they know they cant totally break, even some in the doj have a bit of self-respect

while at the same time they maintained that there was an ongoing investigation

some pundits think the "on-going investigations" claim is meant to block congress from obtaining additional information

so there is no precedent for a plea deal shielding someone from future prosecution while there is an ongoing investigation

yet that is what the doj had agreed to????

here's what the plea agreement contained:

"The United States agrees not to criminally prosecute Biden, outside the terms of this agreement, for any federal crimes encompassed by the attached statement of facts… and the statement of facts attached [to the plea agreement]," the document states. "This agreement does not provide any protection against prosecution for any future conduct by Biden or by any of his affiliated businesses."

The statement of facts attached to the diversion agreement outlined Biden's history of often using Staff Edit - Biomed1 – behavior to which Biden himself has separately admitted – and stated that the first son allegedly lied on a federal form to purchase a firearm by claiming he was not Staff Edit - Biomed1 when he actually was.


The statement of facts attached to the separate tax plea agreement outlined Biden's extensive history of lucrative business dealings in China, Ukraine and elsewhere that have long been under scrutiny. The document also detailed Biden's tax and financial history relevant to the federal charges he's facing.
