Tapawingo is a private lake that is supported by a home owners association that is also a city with it's own police force. Everyone knows each other. Transpassing is not recommended. However, if you know someone, you could be a guest of a property owner.

Thanks for the reminder! I had known someone, shacked up about 300 yards from the water. Never gave too much thought about private ownership!

There was a guy on the opposite side of the lake who would fire a cannon across the water whenever the Chiefs scored! Yep, BOOM!. One of those WHAT DA FUCK! moments the first time you hear it!
