When there are only like five providers in town they’ll have a lot of leverage over what we have to put up with. Granted, it’s not always convenient to turn to plan b (or have to create a plan b on the fly) but there are other providers who will happily take the money that wasn’t important enough to the one who plays games with our schedules. I had an appt with one….of course on the day and time they were MIA. She had the nerve to say “you didn’t text me to make sure that I’d be here.” I asked her if when she makes a doctors appointment she calls the office before leaving the house to make sure the doctor will actually be there since that is the f’ing point of an appointment. If they want to be paid more per hour than most doctors then they ought to act like they respect our time.
