Weren't there some other folks charged with contempt of Congress that got a pass?
What difference, at this point, does it make?

He committed a crime and was found guilty. He then got sentenced. Seems the system worked as it usually does.

No it doesn’t and a lawyer should know this. He did do anything outside of being a Trump Patriot. I admire him for telling congress to stick it where the sun doesn’t fortunately this witch hunt will cease very soon.

I would do four months in Leavenworth to tell the Legislative branch to go fuck itself. Especially if the Fascist NAZI wing of the Republican Party, exemplified by Kari Lake, violently takes power.

If the Fascist NAZI wing of the Republican party does violently take over, rape and other hate crimes will be the norm. Just like the Mongo Mussolini wants it.
If the dumpster fire doesn't do time, my prediction will have come true. The SCOTUS has self confirmed its illegitimacy. It did so already with the Dobbs decision.

If It Wasn't for Double Standards, Dim-Retards Would Have No Standards at All!

You mean Eric Holder?
"Holder, a Democrat who served in former President Barack Obama's administration, was held in contempt by the House in June 2012 "for failing to disclose internal Justice Department documents in response to a subpoena." The White House and Justice Department did not attempt to criminally prosecute Holder after the contempt citation."
Or Lois Lerner?
"Lois Lerner was a former IRS official also held in contempt by the House of Representatives in 2014, but the Justice Department decided not to seek criminal charges against her."

“Although there is evidence of potential violations... our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case...”
