Andddd to top it off
yesterday I had a car wreck..hit a lady..neither really were at fault cause private parking lot with no stop signs
So now I need a right fender and light and a radiator!

Still having issues w my 2007 jeep grand cherokee

Jeep
Its reading weird codes..says misfires in the evac
and is reading
Codes P0440 0457 0401
Code P0300

It runs great on the freeway but when I get to where I am going and park it for short while,then when I go somewhere after that it starts cutting out and chugging.


we had a smoke test done and found a minor oring sensor leak and fixed that but its still doing the cutting out thing

We are thinking it might be either catalytic converter (theres 2)
or purge valve or
I was told There is a vent valve/canister by the gas tank that can get filled with junk and cease to operate.

If there are any mobile mechanics that work cheap or will barter...i need a real diagnosis so I can get it fixed asap

Take it to Fabiano's in Battlefield he's great and reasonable.

I would try the canister by the fuel tank . I have changed a bunch of them on a Jeep wranglers before with the 4.0 engine

how do you check that??

After you drive it , and then let it set , typically when it’s giving the you the issue with chugging and cutting out after start up cycle the key twice and then start it to see if the issue still exists .
