I think we can meet in the middle here. I think it's fair to say both things are true. Most republicans don't listen to Alex Jones, BUT most people who do listen to Alex Jones are republican. That seems like an incredibly fair assessment to me. Either way, I'm personally happy to see the guy sweating it out and losing all his money in a courtroom. That guy is the lowest form of scumbag that there is imo. I'm hoping he continues to do such a bad job that he loses all of his money and somehow finds his ass in a jail cell for a little bit.

I think most people who dont live in Central Texas dont realize that jones is not well liked here. His followers are mostly anti govt. non voting types! No matter what they claim or scream

AFAIK, I don't believe he has ever had much love in Western PA, extremists on both sides never tend to impress the people in the middle much.

I see Jones kind of like I see Nazi's, out there, not much in common with the real people and real conservatives, same as I see Antifa, though, I don't think they are as despised as much on the left, because the left wants violence to interrupt the status quo.

I wish you were right, but I drive down a certain road in Westmoreland county regularly, and there are several people sporting infowar flags on their property. Jones is a dangerous person spreading absolutely false information. And while I'm all for freedom of speech, I'm not all for freedom of lies or deception, especially when it incites people to violence. Since he was in the January 6th crowd, I'm sure he's stoked more than a few people to pick up and run inside. I'll be glad when his 15 minutes are over. Dude looks like a walking heart attack anyhow

I don’t know about that. Republican icons Marjorie Taylor Greene and Roger Stone have been begging people to donate money to Alex Jones all week. Speaking of Nazi’s, I wouldn’t be surprised if the people with the Nazi flags and memorabilia that attend all the DeSantis rallies are big supporters of Jones. Not all republicans support Jones, but it sure doesn’t look like he’s as despised by the Right as you think.
