Trust is a big thing…it is earned, not implied or expected. Somewhat established is not adequate IMHO. It is part of a power exchange like any D/s situation. Trust must be established along with known limits and safe words/gestures. Safe words and gestures must be honored without question or hesitation. Safe gestures are like safe words but when they are unable to speak.
