Default Could “RICO” Be Used Against The Smash and Grab Robbers?

RICO was conceived to prosecute criminal conspiracies.
The police have determined that these mass Smash and Grab gangs are using social media to coordinate their attacks.

Isn’t that a criminal conspiracy?

Each individuals Grabbing $800 worth of stuff might be a “slap on the wrist” crime, but a criminal conspiracy is much more serious.

Use RICO to go after these thugs.

JS - interesting thought

any articles to post with legal opinions?
not that any law enforcement will be used against teh DPST enabled terrorist / rioters in their "re-distribution" of wealth in America.

Soros and his Chesa Boudin DA's across teh country will be sure of that.

Thank You.

Of course, RICO is a Federal Statute. I doubt our Justice Department under that goofball Garland would be interested in going after all of these Democrat Voters.

They are as invulnerable as Hunter Biden.

I think they are using it on the Jan 6 masterminds...don't see why they can't use it in these cases

Just heard some law enforcement types discussing this. While the law in California says that looting under $950 is a misdemeanor, a conspiracy ( setting it up with others or even having others waiting in the car can be called a conspiracy ) is a felony but if left up to the current regime, the ones who pushed for this absurd law, are not about to up the ante because they simple do not want to prosecute these people of color, which is what this is all about when it comes right down to it. The LA District Attorney says that putting people in jail is "dehumanizing" and Democrat Tlaib says she would like to see all prisons emptied in the next 10 years.

So unless the left decides to get rid of this George Soros cabal of prosecutors, nothing will change.
