he got the Jefferson Parish vote. that's how JBE won. he had Orleans parish locked up. Had Vitter won JP, a republican parish, he would have been governor, not JBE. I was shocked!
Vitter got hurt by the so-called republicans in the general and succeeded in making him "toxic" over the prostitution scandal.
JBE being in the military prolly helped a little, that was merely an icing on the cake.
one of the former republican candidate for governor, Jay Dardenne, works for JBE. Jay endorsed JBE for the runoff election.
