I wonder why they would come here. Most of our cities are more dangerous than their country now.

"she strikes me as a petty chiseler, a petty pilferer, a petty grifter

but that's not the idea I want to convey

she has developed coping strategies to hide her incompetence

she talks fast, so fast her bull goes right past people and doesn't give the brain enough time to analyze her paucity of thought and care

people's critical thinking skills don't react until sometime later, and then its only the non partisan who takes the time to analyze her bull, so only about half the country finally realizes her complete non responsiveness to questions or events

she is a creative excuser and is able to turn the focus elsewhere

she is an avoider of truth and sets up straw men to attack

she, at the same time, is over confident, not in her fundamental job abilities but in her success at turning the focus elsewhere which gives her the reliance she can do it again and again

she will not assume responsibility for her incompetence"

Which is why policy is more important than personality. I know for a fact that I didn't like Trump's personality but I liked his politics. I assume it is that way with Harris who proved in the primaries that people just really don't like her especially that fucked up laugh of hers but they "God help them" do agree with her politics, why I don't know but they do.

And I agree that the problem with both of those you mention, none of us on either side, are sure we believe what they are saying even when we agree. Just look at all the things each has said previously to what they say now.

We can't trust any of these people but we have to elect someone and unfortunately, it always comes down to the lesser of two bad choices but policy always wins my vote.

I like Trumps personality and policies. He can be pretty funny. But when you’re unfairly attacked everyday despite doing good things for the country, I don’t blame him for busting balls. I would too.

Sorry dude, but the "Americans" have become a bunch of lazy asses who over value our worth. We need the cheap labor if we are to ever challenge productivity in China and India.

Its called a "guest worker program" but both sides have a problem with it so we end up with this massive cluster fuck that we have now. What you say about the hard workers is correct but unfortunately, not all of them are the honest hard working type. If that were the case, there would be no problem but with the good come the bad without regulation and laws. There has to be at least an attempt at screening. We can't just let anybody that wants in, in.

And that cheap labor argument falls apart with government mandatory wages and doing jobs that Americans will do.

What happens when there are 10 illegals competing for that roofing job? What are the rest going to do without work?

I know. I had my Roof replaced last week. A crew of about five Mexicans. They all got along great and did really good job. They worked 12 hours the first day and came back the next day and worked six and finished up. An American crew would still be up there.

Depends on what American crew I guess. Don’t sell Americans short. Last I checked, Mexico hasn’t put a man on the moon. Just sayin.

It's about the freakin' law, the same law that every country on earth has about illegally entering a country. This has nothing to do witht how hard some of them might work when they get here.

We have a duty to control our borders, nothing more, nothing less.

We should have a robust guest worker program where we control the numbers of who comes in and how long they stay.

As to the illegals already here, I'm not for the police stopping every Brown person they come upon and ask for their papers. We've seen that movie before but what I would would say is that if you illegally entered this country and you don't commit a crime that gets you arrested, you can stay but you will never, ever become a citizen by breaking the law. You will never get the benefits of being an American citizen but you will not be rounded up in mass and deported. That's how I feel. I could be wrong.

Plus that removes the whole incentive of the Democrats for supporting illegal immigration because they think they are importing Democrat voters. Take that away and see how fast they change. How do we know this? Because it was proposed before. You can stay but you can never become a citizen and the Democrats said no.

Most Say Illegal Immigrants Should Be Allowed to Stay, But Citizenship Is More Divisive

I am not trying to sell American workers short, but I was impressed by how well they worked together. The subdivision where my first house was built there was an American crew doing some framing on a house and an argument ensued and one of the guys was shot with a Nail Gun. I had some work delayed in my house because the crew doing Sheetrock decided not to show up. Maybe those are isolated incidents but I can understand why contractors hire Mexicans undocumented or not. I am not condoning it but I can understand why besides the fact they work cheaper.

I hear you. My club did a complete renovation of the golf course. I was on the greens committee at the time. It was a big endeavor. New tees, new bunkers, new drainage, reshaping fairways and two new green complexes. There was a lot of hand digging. There was two vans of Mexican laborers. It started in June when it’s close to 90 here with high humidity. The Mexican crew was tireless. Worked long days. They finished on time and budget. I was out there almost everyday observing them. I was pretty impressed. On the other hand, I replaced my roof about six years ago. I have a ranch house which have large roofs. I hired a local contractor who used local workers. It was done in two days as well. I had no complaints with the quality of their work.
