I don't read 90% of the reviews done on the amps and studios anymore just because of the constant BS in the reviews. Even if someone does write an honest review it is immediately take over by the promoters either trying to build it up even more or blame the reviewer if it was a bad experience. Figure I might as well go in blind and take the same risk as I take reading the false reviews.

God ain't that the truth. All the promoters need to do is look at the results of the poll. And the funny thing is that we don't have to create a bunch of extra handles to get the point across. The consensus is that mongers are sick of the promoting. Most businesses adapt to the current climate, and the promoters haven't grabbed a clue yet.

I'm mildly less inclined, but honestly - if you're hobbying, then Caveat Emptor & YYMV should be your life's mottos. Generally, the new hottness gets reviewed into the ground - often by people who put my review count to shame &that may or may not be promoting - and the truth comes out. With the narrow range of talent available, that's going to get even more pronounced. Honestly, we have guys that white knight for their favorite girls - for free or for favors, we've got guys that are so entitled that they'll trash an otherwise good provider because their particular fetish isn't catered to... And either extreme generally has zero chill or sense of humor.

They have lied on reviews , lied about looks, lied about everything
They don’t have our best interest
