The owner "LC" passed away yesterday, weds.
Every outfit in town is talking about it, and quite a few folks are upset.
His burnt ends sandwich was a frequent to go item for my crew.

LC was a great person he will be missed by a lot of people. Had some great food there. I do hope they carry on the tradition.

Good BBQ. Hope they don’t close, I think his daughter or some relative has been running it for quite awhile. I have been there a number of times and it has been a long time since I have seen him doing anything but sitting there. Used to be up and around. But even sitting there, you could tell he was in charge...

LC's BBQ was good stuff: too bad my visits were not frequent enough because is was an area that I seldom visit.

I haven't been there in quite some time. But I enjoyed the fried okra there. Not many places have that.

Agree 100% I always got a double order with my sandwich and took the second home for later.
