Thinking of visiting Laffy and Baton Rouge ?

Any suggestions on what area to stay and restaurants that are great to dine ? Not sure if or when I will be visiting. I have had tons of requests for the last time was 8yrs ago I visited either of these two towns. I know lots have changed. Please pm me all that might be interested.
