There isn't anything wrong having a dress code. Unless it becomes an overbearing workplace dress code.
In Houston, if you are required to wear a 3 piece suit in the middle of the summer is an example. Or not letting the UPS delivery guys wear shorts, that was in effect for a long time.
The Versace mansion at Miami Beach has a dress code. Food is average, but it keeps the beach combers from wandering in off the street. It is a good thing.
There is a guy in my building trying to bring back hats. He always wears a hat. Everytime I see him he has a different hat. Almost hard to believe that at one time, all men wore hats......was that in the 1930"s ? What a different time and place.
