Questions regarding including price in reviews
Most of recent reviews on ECCIE do not explicitly mention fees paid. I find those reviews to be incomplete and less informative. One purpose of the reviews is to inform and help in choosing a provider. After all, cost versus quality of service is a major consideration in any transaction from buying cars to engaging providers.
It was suggested that mentioning of sex acts and money in a review, can be used by the law enforcement as evidence against a provider; however, I have difficulty in believing this is to be the case. Although I am not a lawyer; but, anything that is said by an essentially anonymous reviewer is “hearsay”, which is considered inadmissible in court of law.
Are there other good reasons why we should not include price in reviews? I would like to hear them from both clients and providers.
