When someone asks me if I’m LE, I kindly explain how that question won’t help you at all if you wind up speaking with a cop & I then give an actual example of entrapment

Cops can, will, and do lie to you. If you ask a cop if they’re affiliated w LE, they are not going to blow their cover. They’re going to say of course they’re not affiliated w LE. This is legal for them to do.

Example of entrapment: You’re at the grocery store buying produce and a cop approaches you and asks if she can give you a BJ in the bathroom for $100. You had no intention of meeting with anyone for a BJ. It hadn’t even crossed your mind to seek this out. This is entrapment.
