How long has your memory been so faulty and selective? It was Dirty Harry Reid who first invoked the so-called "nuclear option" back in 2013. Give proper credit where credit is due! Dirty Harry eliminated the filibuster for all judicial nominations except SCOTUS. He did it to stack the DC Circuit Court with liberal Obama sycophants.

The move backfired. Not only did the GOP regain Senate control in the 2014 midterms, but Dirty Harry's rash action (he changed a 207-year Senate tradition) set a terrible precedent insuring it would eventually be extended to SCOTUS nominees as well.

And only a braindead idiot would even suggest there is a possibility McConnell will not hold a Senate trial if the dim-retards in the House are stupid enough to impeach trump.
