Info on Bryant AR & the Hobby?

So this last trip to Little Rock was thrown together last minute. I was in Fort Smith and in mid travel had a real world call that took me to Shreveport for a day. On my return I did not feel like driving the 5 hrs all the way back to Fort Smith I would just reroute my map and come here. This is only my second visit and I am learning the town driving around doing google searches and getting info from others.
Yesterday I ventured out 11 miles exactly from my hotel in West Little Rock near Shackleford and the Freeway to a Walmart that was in a town named Bryant. Man I loved it. It had all the hotels Hampton, La Quinta etc. etc. A Sonic and all the other fast food junk crap food places.I get the ice. It was a busy hopping place lots of foot traffic lots of people nice area all around. I was impressed, so my questions for the locals.
What's LE like? Is it a good hobby area? Is 11 miles to far? The hotels are like almost half the price have a lot more outdoor pools for summer fun in the sun. Could park 18 wheelers or company cars at Walmart and walk over to any of the 6 hotels. Seemed ideal to me.
Any info is helpful. I am headed up north then on my return back to Abilene Texas I plan on giving more notice of my visit and serious considering changing areas from West Little Rock to Bryant.

I can not speak with 100% certatinty about le However my daughter went to sped all the years she went to Bryant Schools I never heard of any le making any busts around hotels I worhed as a sub for many years and heard no heresay about it

Now I know why all the 18 wheelers be parking at the Walmart. Lol On a serious note I haven’t ever heard of any local stings at any of the hotels. But Bryant police are everywhere and plenty of unmarked also. For such a small 2 horse exit town they take their job pretty seriously. They like to target people with out of state tags especially the great state of Texas. I guess they assume everyone from Texas is carrying something they shouldn’t be.

Thanks Guys. I also got a PM saying about heavy police presence I guess that is why it is considered safer than other areas in Little Rock.
Texas plates are always a target especially in Tennessee too.
As long as a passing patrol car doesn't scare off potential clients and a unmarked car isn't posted outside my hotel I should be fine for a couple of days. SO for sure coming back this way in a few weeks. All though the area on Markham Center where the small clusterfuck of hotels was not bad.. Minus that one down graded run downed hotel. How do you have a Marriot and a Hilton owned hotel right next door to a trash hotel??? Somebody need to do a makeover on that hell maybe a bulldozer and a rebuild is its only hope.
I went 4 miles south to find a Long Johns Silver they have add a piece grilled salmon for $2.49 when you need a quick protein boost just get 1 or 2 of them add your own veggies from home you are good to go however driving to that one I thought I was going to get car jacked. YEP found the bad area of Little Rock. So traveling ladies stay away from what ever area that is.. GOODNESS. I could read the headlines as I sat there. traveling Lady searching for protein on the go to keep healthy and fit dies in car jacking at the local Long John Silver.

The problem you may run into there is the lack of local traffic. As many people as live in Bryant, it’s still a place where everybody knows somebody. There aren’t too many places where one can go and not see somebody they are at least acquainted with. Vehicles are quick to be recognized as well.
