We're losing money on every unit but we're making it up in volume.

How good is your 2 billion dollar plane when someone living in a cave could just turn it off. Kind of like that drone on Obama's watch that just landed in Iran and we never found out why.

actually something like that already happened to one of the navy ships.

a windoze network computer crashed. took several hours to get it back up.

F-35 is a fast fighter but... it can only do it in short bursts.

its stealth coating peels off during high speed.

it also shakes during high speed, stressing its airframe.

so this boondoggle of an aircraft is being manufactured to our allies with major serious flaws..

what's the point of having a fighter aircraft that can't fly very fast at long periods.

its a turd of a fighter that it always was from the beginning.
Soooo......

...should "we" pile them up, burn them, and start drawing another one to replace it?

This week's performance by the F-35 fighter at the Paris Air Show is a turning point for the world's most advanced multi-role fighter, demonstrating that even when fully loaded with combat gear, it can out-perform the tactical aircraft of every other country. Although prime contractor Lockheed Martin has always professed confidence F-35 would prove itself, a dwindling collection of critics continues to attack the plane citing outdated or simply erroneous arguments.

The critics fail to grasp that F-35 is one of the greatest technological achievements of this generation, a program that will assure global air dominance for the U.S. and its allies through mid-century. It also will help assure that aerospace remains America's most dynamic export sector. F-35 will generate tens of billions of dollars in trade earnings, and tens of thousands of jobs, from over a dozen foreign customers. The plane has never lost a competition in which it went head-to-head with other fighters.

At least that's what the govt revealed.

Iran took control of a drone, several people have taken control of a car's GM Onstar system, it's not to much of a stretch to think that someone could remotely take control of a jetliner or a Navy ship. How does one wrest back control? Perhaps reboot the system. It's easier to reboot the system on a boat than a plane flying at 30,000ft.
