With apologies to Mae West and her above quote, the following was posted on US News & World Report:

MARION, Indiana (KTRK) -- A man was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the penis, police say.

Mark Anthony Jones was carrying a 9mm handgun in his waistband without a holster. When the gun began to slip, the 46-year-old Jones reached to adjust the gun, causing it to fire.

According to police, the bullet entered just above his penis and exited through the scrotum.

Jones does not have an Indiana Handgun License and his condition was not released.

No better argument for a holster than this

Appendix carry without a holster...SMDH. There's some dumb mother fuckers carrying out there. I'm on a gun page on FB and this shit comes up every now and then. People actually try to defend carrying a handgun with the trigger exposed. It's stupid...especially with everything being striker fired now and many with no safety.
